Developmental Skills Program

Our Developmental Skills program provides kids with a fun introduction to volleyball focused on skill development (serving, passing, setting, hitting, etc.) and building a strong foundation of teamwork, work ethic and growth mindset for each player. Coaches focus on the foundation of youth volleyball training to prepare those players interested in participating in club volleyball and/or middle school/high school volleyball.

The program is available to kids ages 9-13.

Dates: January 6  to February 26

Location: Merit Academy

Days / Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1.5 hours sessions between 6 and 9pm.

Program Fee: $200 (+$50 to add a volleyball)

2025-26 RMR / USAV Membership is required for participation waivers and insurance coverage for Woodland Park VBC. Note that there is a separate membership fee through membership registration.

Program fees and required forms will be collected at the first practice on January 6.

Coaches for this year's program will be Head Coach Julie Vieux and Assistant Coach Angeleah Stierlen. All coaches are Safe Sport trained, background screened and RMR/USAV members.
