Tournament:
This year the Far Western National Qualifier will be held in the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Please observe the following requirements while attending the tournament:
- All attendees must be on an Official Team Roster or be registered through our Guest Registration system.
- Chairs are provided around the courts for attendees.
- No outside food is allowed in the convention center.

Hotel Reservations: Plaza Resort Club
This is a "Stay and Play" tournament. What that means is that each team must have a certain number of nights reserved through the tournament's hotel site; cannot book on your own!
- Check in - Thursday, April 27th.
- Check out - Monday, May 1st.
We do encourage rooming with another parent & player to help with the cost. If this is something you would like to do and have made arrangments to room with someone; please let us know so we can cancel your room before the cancellation deadline on 04/25/2023. You may also choose not to stay Sunday night. You will be able to let them know this at check-in on Thursday, April 27th.
Parking During Tournament: Parking Map
- Convention Center parking is $10.00 per car. Parking fees may change without notice.
- You may set up out front of S. Virginia Street ONLY, stay 10 feet from any exit door, and stay on sidewalks of the convention center facing S. Virginia Street.
- NO setting up or doing anything in the parking lots.
- NO BBQs, propane, open flame, or plug in devices.
- NO parking permitted on South Virginia Street.
Guest Registration / Wristband Information:
Entrance to Far Western requires registration, and a guest, player, or staff wristband. There are no exceptions! Pick up your wristbands early by stopping during the hours of 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2023, to avoid any delays getting in on the first day of the tournament!
THERE ARE NO FEE REFUNDS for Entry Wristbands. REPLACEMENT FOR LOST, STOLEN OR FORGOTTEN ENTRY WRISTBANDS for Guests, Players, or Coaches requires payment of a fee for a new Entry Wristband.
Team Check-in: Online Check-in on TM2Sign.com:
- Week #2 (April 28-30) STARTS Wednesday, April 26 @ 12:01 AM until Thursday April 27 @ 9:00 PM
All teams MUST Check-In Online BEFORE they come to the Convention Center to pick up their wristbands.
- The roster you submit when you check-in online is your Official Roster. Any roster changes you make after submitting your Official Roster online must be done at the Championship Desk before the team’s first match.
- The addition of players and/or staff to an official roster is not allowed once a Team has begun Match play in the Event.
- Each player is required to wear the same jersey number as listed on the official roster throughout the entire Event, with limited exceptions as required by emergency or blood rule applications. Please refer to the Championship manual for the penalties for an illegal number.
Player & Staff Wristband Pick Up:
- After you have checked your team in online, you MUST come to the Convention Center to pick up your team’s wristbands.
- One person per team is allowed to approach the Tournament Desk to pick up the team bag .
- Week #2 pick-up starts on Thursday April 27 at 4:00 PM and closes at 9:00 PM
- If you are in the AM wave you MUST pick up your team’s wristbands on Thursday April 27 for week #2
- If you are in the PM wave you can pick up your wristbands the day you play between 10AM and 1PM but we recommend picking them up the night before
- To facilitate picking up the wristbands for the team, Club Directors can check their teams in online and send the check-in confirmation email to a coach or other team representative to pick up the team wristbands.
- COACHES: REMEMBER to issue your players a wristband before you ask them to meet you inside the playing venue. Players who do not have a wristband will not be allowed into the playing facility.
